Giving an Agency Access

Useful Information

  • As an agency, we have to send you a connection request before you can grant us access to your account.

  • An agency user, we will not count as a user seat on your Marketing plan.

  • When you grant us access to your account, we can give access to new agency users (such as members of our team) at the same user level or lower.

Granting Access

When an agency needs access to your Mailchimp account, they'll submit a request from their own account. This request will send an email to the address associated with the owner of your account.

To view and accept a request to connect accounts, follow these steps.

  1. Go to your emails and open the request email from Mailchimp.

  2. Click View Request.

  3. Log in to the Mailchimp account you want the agency to access.

  4. Choose a maximum level of access for the entire agency.*

*Keep in mind, this limits what we can do in your account. For example, a user with Manager level access can create and edit campaigns but can’t access billing information.

  5. Click Grant Access.

That’s it! Mailchimp will notify us that access has been granted. The next stage is to think about adding your audience into the account to send your emails.

If you need help with setting up your Mailchimp account, please get in touch and we would be happy to guide you through, and with any other Mailchimp enquiries you have.
